as a lot of you read last night I have 2 JL audio 13.5" subs... and a JL amp. I was wondering how you guys would rate that kind of system for a first car system for a 17 yr old.. i am really getting addicted to car audio and want to learn as much as possible! thanks in advance for your advice!

Excellent. Definitely starting out on the right foot. JL is among the finest equipment on the market in terms of performance and quality.

well im intrested in the futrue to get some W7's but I was wondin if one 15 or two 15's would be more adequate?

well from the sounds of it, looks like you wanna beat those W7's hehe. With the correct install, you might be able to beat it with 2 15's wats your budget?

Bass is just the start. How about the HU, speakers, amps...

Nice equipment though. As long as you are happy with it.

Well you have excellent equipment, but 2 subs and an amp is not a system. It is bass. What do you have(or what are you planning) for front stage, amp, etc)?
