Holy hell here is that box again...one night and high school I was 15 and my buddy was 16 we got all hopped up on devils lettuce and tried our first attempt at box building and out box resembled an octagon and it was covered in caulk just like yours

turn the volume down next time, you are more than likely expecting too much from dual 8"s and compensated by turning volume up louder until distortion or you cranked bass boost up.....i have never "accidentally" blown a sub in my life (be doin this 15+ years)

i've been installing car audio systems since President Reagan won his second term. oh and the issue w/ my JL AUDIO 8W3v3-4, was a MFG> OOPS! and my multimeter is junk.
