Having heard both W7s and D9s as well as D6s VS W6

I would say that the extra moneys involved with the JL logo are

just that money for logo....

Diamond gets the job done for less

when i first started, i went for JL....just because of the name brand..but after hearing many different subs and speakers..ive found out there is much better out there for cheaper.

im not familiar with diamond products so i cant recommend it over JL.

JL products are good quality however. I love my XRs just wish they got louder

I had the 12" Diamond CM3 selaed which is almost the same as a D3. I didnt care for it. It didnt like to play deep. I tried everything to get it too, but it wouldnt.

I wasnt too impressed.

But I remember my 12 W0 impressed the hell out of me taking 4 times the power handling......and loving it.

I am in a simiar position and I am going with the W3 only due to power handling. I have 350 to throw at a sub and I think the JL would handle that more efficiently plus they have a clean looking grille which for the position of the sub is a must. If I had the power I would go diamond. I had a D912 of a D6 1500.1 and it rocked and I had a D6 10 before that and I loved it, probaly one of my favorite subs.

v3's for SQ. I have Dual 12's and they sound awesome. Wont be disappointed.

Personally I'm a Diamond fan, mainly b.c I can get them really cheap. If it were me it would come down to the money. Both companies produce good products, it just depends on who you talking to as to which one is best. The best way to figure this out is to go and listen to each if possibel. +1 for the Diamonds
