Cousin wants to step it up.. help him out

Well my cosin jus bout some memphis front stage components in front and coaxials in the rear and hes going to get a zapco 360.4 like me. But now hes wanting to step up him subwoofer game. He had type r's and L5's in sealed boxes, hes running a ma audio amp that puts out 1500 watts at 1 ohm i forgot what it puts out at 2 ohms. Now he wants to go ported but he has a bmw M3 which has a fairly small trunk because its a 2 door. He wants to buy my SX subs and box but we wont know for sure if the box will fit yet until this weekend.

In the mean time what pair of sub 12's could he run that dont need a lot of space to get louder than his R' and L5's in a ported box off his 1500 watts at 1 ohm amp, any suggestions will be valid

dont run different subs in same system!! If that is what you are saying. If not them im sorry and cant help you out.

why not run 1 12" type r? that ma audio amp probably only puts out 1100 or 1200 watts anyway, just make a ported box for it and it will wang. or you could try the 06 kicker l7 12"

I tried to talk him into getting a single sub but hes stuck on getting a pair of 12's, its not my money so thats him he sucks

better yet, sell the L5's and port the Rs, or sell the L5's and R's and buy a SI Mag.

Since you mentioned that he has a small trunk, getting 2 12"s with the right box with the right tuning may be hard. I'd say go a single 15" like a Mag and give it the right box.
