JL Audio 13W3v3-4

Ah, this is the time when someone recommends a hifonics amp for me, on the cheap too. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Ikesound marked them wrong the 13W3v3-2 is the 2 ohm model. Ah, i gotcha. I was gunna run two of these with a hifonics TXI1008D

That too much power?

I had two 12" type R's and Now I have one 12 w7. The w7 is very clear compared to my two 12"s. It was weird. I havent playeed the sub too hard it makes my lights dim. I sent for a new battery. The 12w7 needs alot of power.

iam not the biggest jl fan but i do like the w7's. i have a 10w7 that was running off of a moded mtx 81000d(pics in the gally-93 olds)and that wasnt enough. i have since switched to a larger ported box(than before) and switched to a fusion nv-am2500. the fusion puts out right 1200 watts rms at 3 ohms(at 12.8v) and it has really impressed me with both output and quality of sound. some will not belieave me but it takes this power very easy and could handle a tad more.

actually he doesn't fail, Thermal power handling does not mean peak moron, the 13w3v3 can easily handle 750 rms
i would have to agree, i had a 12w6v2 in a ported box and had that running of the same mtx81000d and that driver took that power very well. i would have to say thet the 13w3v3 could take 750 easy.
