JL Audio 13W3v3-4

iam not the biggest jl fan but i do like the w7's. i have a 10w7 that was running off of a moded mtx 81000d(pics in the gally-93 olds)and that wasnt enough. i have since switched to a larger ported box(than before) and switched to a fusion nv-am2500. the fusion puts out right 1200 watts rms at 3 ohms(at 12.8v) and it has really impressed me with both output and quality of sound. some will not belieave me but it takes this power very easy and could handle a tad more.-vic
Most of the limitations on the power handling of the w7 are mechanical, same for the w6v2's.

I wish they would do something with that foam surround, fer one.

It is VERY hard to burn the coil on the W7

i have not had any mechanical issues with the w7, with the w6 though, had to be careful. when i designed the box for the w7, it took some trial and error to get the right volume, port size/length right for my output vs sound quality. oh and the all important waf-wife approval factor.
