I have two jl w6 v2's in jl box that was powered by a jl A1400 amp but i sold it to my friend because it wasn't powerful enough so I ordered a jl 1000/1 v2 amp will this new amp draw be too much for my cars electrical system to handle?
If you're wired at 4 ohms, or 1 ohm, either way its bad with a kx2500.1...that amp runs at 1500rms at 4 ohms and 2500 at 2 ohms. The 2 ohms doesn't apply to you. 750 rms would be going to each sub and conclusion, you're going to destroy the subs. Get a monoblock class d amp that does 600 rms x 1 at 4 ohms or a 2 channel 300 rms a piece (each channel) at 4 ohms. That's if your subs are wired to 4 ohms and not 1. Either way that amp is way too much power for those subs.hey guys i got 2 12" W3's 4 ohms and i have a kicker KX25001
I was wondering if i crank my music in my which is 40 what wuld b the best wattage it be at
