jl 250/1 problem

also posted in the electrical forum for extra eyes. but the problem. ok, just started, and not always, but a majority of the time, when i turn off my car, the sub's spl seems to build and just take off to an extreme ammount with the car off. Whats the deal? The amp is using the signal sensing, input is via loc tapped to the rear speakers after the factory jbl amp in the toyota. help...

Ok, no idea WTF you are talking about. Sounds like you just have a simple turn off pop though.

fixt, used a hard wire for remote instead of the signal sensing...basically, the amp wasnt going off with the car, and seemed to just release all the vehicles stored power into the sub.....basically it got louder than i could get it with my h/u except on test tunes
