JL 10W7 in HO box HOLE can I fix it?

I have the option to buy a 10w7 with a crack in the woofer. I can get it in the HO box for $200.... whats the story with fixing it? Can it be done? I'm told it works fine, and there is no performance problems with it.... anyone have any info as to how to fix it? I attached a pic.

If it isn't worth it, I won't buy it.

I know if you send it to JL its like 300+ for a recone on a w7....I would just buy another one and try to sell that one for cheap....sorry

and no you should buy it.....for the cost of fixing it, you can get a 12 in a HO box or even something else
