Jensen VM9311TS help

hey I got a Jensen VM9311TS head unit and I know how to install everything except that Pink E-Brake wire... Where do I connect it? It's supposed to hook to the E-Brake but where does it go? I drive a 1998 Toyota Camry if that helps thnks

BTW Im not tryna bypass it to where I can watch Movies while Im driving, I just wanna kno where that pink wire goes

i have this unit. i did not attach that wire. i left it unhooked and works fine. and i can watch video while driving

you dont need it. Also, there is a simple code you input for that unit to watch the movies, no "switch" needed. Just google it.

hmm. well in my friends car we had to input the code. It was pretty simple though.

Did you buy it used? Once the code is input, you never need to do it again, even if the unit is unhooked from all power

nope, i programmed mine on my work bench, then unhooked it and installed it in my work truck about a week later, didnt need the code. Switched it to my comp vehicle when my other deck crapped out, still didnt need the code. Had it out of the truck for 2 months, sold it to a friend and still didnt need the code/ground

I will say, that was a hell of a unit for the $300 i paid for it new

i paid 300 used, but i have had no problems. has a nice picture and the ts part could be a bit more accurate, but i didnt have to drop a grand to have a decent screen

So your saying I dont need to hook it up to anything? Ive been told that if you dont hook it up, you cant play videos at all... You have to have it hooked up or something to put that code in dont you? (I already know the code and all that, but I just need to know what to do with that wire)
