JBL vs PG comps what you think!!!

hey guys i work at best buy so i can get the JBL 650c component speakers for 180 bucks or i can order the PG rsd 6.5 comps for abou 120 what ones do you think will be better running off a JBL 2 channel amp at about 100 watts rms each channel?? thanks, jeremy

That would probably be a coin flip for me.

Ever considered these comps before? Best Buy sells them, so you could get a discount....

I was looking at bestbuy.ca and it looks like Canadian BB carry JBL and PG(only 2 products on the site)

But O.P., Just get whatever sounds better to you, because they are both pretty decent comps!

The JBL Power series are very good for the money... especially for that employee discount money. They are similar to the Infinity kappas, same parent company.

Do you sell in the car audio department?

you should know better. thats why i will never let anyone from bestbuys touch my car. but i would go for the JBL. phoenix gold is played out

I must say i was dissapointed in all jbls components, Especially the gti model. I will admit that jbls new highend set above the gti looks very nice.. Great amps, great subs, speakers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif imo.

k your entitled to your opinion but how m i supposed to know... we dont sell any phoenix ggold speakers to compare them to... know shops around here sell PG speakers

Then just get the jbls. If no one sells the golds locally, and you want to hear the set first, then that puts them out.. Thats the best advice i can give you, besides the golds are a much smoother sounding set in every way. not even close...

Listen to both and decide yourself, theyre both good components, just comes down to which ones YOUR ears like better
