I use my laptop to take notes in my architecture class. I usually open up the last pages of notes, delete everything but the header, then save it as the new page and go from there. Today for some reason I just deleted the notes and started without renaming the page, so I'm missing a day's worth of notes that I have to turn in as part of a journal for a grade.

Is there any way to recover past versions of a saved document? I would be so thankful for any help I can get with this...

It "might" have created a .tmp file that's still available. You'll need to open Word...Tools...Options...File Locations and see where your files are normally saved. Look for a .tmp file in those locations from the time/date the original was created. You'll need to rename it to .doc so Word will open it

lol, i was hoping some one else would find the irony //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
i dont want to come out and say it, because i think its funnier this way.
I always tell my kids to do good when I drop them off at school. It ensures they will not make this mistake later in life.
