there are 3 other songs that i havent had a chance to mix yet

the bass player and drummer were awesome, they did all 4 songs in one take each

the guitarists were a little unprepared, but it turned out pretty good (i think)

dude, use putfile. Lot easier. i hate the muddy guitar sound, otherwise not too bad.

lol i donno man thats 15 hours? http://www.myspace.com/skylineterror we did that in like 30 minutes and the recording is of nearly the same quality if not..

The guy who started the vocals and screamed the whole time cannot sing and just doesn't seem to have the voice for it, but I hate when people scream in metal anyways. However, the other guy has a fairly decent voice for singing metal/rock. The guitar playing the 3 beats with a cadence for the first 20 seconds seems very out of place. Might sound a little better if the bass played the melody for those first 20 seconds with the guitar in the background then kind of fade the bass back to the harmony and bring the guitar to the melody.

snare is kinda harsh.... but this isnt my kind of music anyways so i wouldn't know what you're goin for....

work on your screaming voice, and there were times where you sang out of tune a lil...

no offense, but it sounds like it was recorded in that amount of time...

the guitars sound like crap

drums sound like crap

the mix is bad

no disrespect to your playing abilities, but the mixing is lack luster

how did you do the recording btw

i did the instrumentation in separate, if you did that in 30 minutes you probably did it all together i assume?
