like I said, I buy what gives up the best sounds for my $, I did not say I buy the cheapest, or the most expensive. The only reason I did not buy that Avionixx the first time I heard one is because they were like $500 new...I had to wait until they quit making them to buy one for what has turned out to be a **** good deal, lol.

The MB quart john said would be a great amp. He said not to pay much for it though. He has fixed 3 of them and the parts are expensive.

Depends upon the substage and goals. For my daily that's fine, for my demo set up not even close....

I was meaning purely for daily listening. I can definitely understand where loud fellas like yourself need some extra help up front for demos vehicles.

I went to frost off in madison this year. and one in green bay which was a fail. because 45 miles into the drive and it started down pouring. so by the time we got there. very few people showed up.

Its not even funny how efficient that box is. I have the amp at 1/4 gain. It doesn't clip until 2/3. But I can't go any louder because the subs bottom out.

Yes I was at Frost Off, purple mini van. Don't have to compete, just come out to hang and meet people with a common interest.

Box could be too big, tuned too high, or too much port area if subs bottom out easily.

Doesn't take much for daily to be loud IMO. I run a single PB 6.5" per side and a few Vifa Neo's in the A pillars of a 4x60 Helix and it'll make my ears ring.

I think too many guys run off HU power or just don't set stuff up right. Daily has a single 18 in the trunk that does a 47-48 on music and the front stage easily keeps up.

Yes. The box port is too large. Like I said. It was designed to be efficient. To get loud off low power. its tuned to 32hz.

Next box will be more daily. 4ft3 after displacement tuned to 34 hertz.

Yep Barney is my demo vehicle, have made a few changes to the mids/highs since Frost Off.

You should be able to get a decent 4ch for $100-150, especially used. Just keep scouting classifieds on here and a few other sites.

My brother had a video of your van on his itouch. But it was stolen. Your van was LOUDDDDDDDDD. I wanted to sit in it. The whole show. I never got to sit in one crazy loud vehicle. I have never heard a system louder than mine. If you go next now I won't be afraid to ask someone.

Hey jockhater. Don't get the mb amp yes they are cheap and do rated but a lot of issues with maxx sonics amps not lasting Get a better amp that will give you less or no issues you'll be better off

it was an older mb quart. Before maxx sonics.

And I ended up not getting it. Because the amp is worth $150 used and in working condition.

And the guy wanted $85 for it broken. So after repairs and shipping. I am losing money. Which is stupid. The guy was insulted when I offered him $40 shipped. but that is what its worth broken.

I would barely need the power it makes. I found a few other amps that I like. For instance. That Audison LRx 6.9 that is for sale on here. The guy lives about an hour and half from me. And those are some really nice amps.

And that lanzar is just such a good price.

Also. I just contacted Iraggi yesterday about shipping them my alternator bracket so I can get a 2nd 380 where the A/C goes.

this is true, it would run many, many 8 ohm mids and tweets,lol...or gain down a tad...that Audison is nice too, I looked at that awhile ago.

This is another total n00b question. My HU can hook up to a 6 channel amp correct?

Or is a 6 channel amp meant for mids/highs plus a sub? I thought that was a 5 channel?
