Is this why my front stage gets over taken by my sub stage?

Hell, I'm just running some 6.5's in my doors and they can get louder than I want them to be. There's only so loud you can go before it just starts to hurt. Maybe my ears are just sensitive(my wife will argue otherwise).

wow. I wouldn't know because everythings on the head unit. I originally only had 2 tweets and 2 door speakers in the front of the car. I added the 2nd set to try and make up for the over powering bass.

I guess power is what I should have done, not more speaker.

I'm using some HAT Imagine 6.5's and running them off an old school Alpine MRV-1507 with a potential 2x225 at my disposal.

parallel wiring the coax's will change the xover point/slope of the built in xovers. Might not be a good thing.

MbQuart 4ch is a very solid amp, especially if you can find one for a good price.

Personally I'd sell off all the stuff you have and get a decent set of 6.5" comps and bridge a 4ch to power them.

A single set of quality components and a 2x150 amp will please most anybody.

Depends upon the substage and goals. For my daily that's fine, for my demo set up not even close....

This is true for me, too. I see these front stages in peoples sigs around here and wonder how they can still hear. Mine is plenty loud enough to cause pain, and I have entry-level comps with about 100 wrms going to each tweet and the same to each woofer.

So one speaker per channel is required to use the full range amps crossovers effectively. Unless I hook up two of the same size speakers then I can share the channel and still use the full range's crossovers.

You can run as many speakers as you want per channel, assuming they all need the same xover point/slope...

Keep in mind that I want more power than I need, in-case I want to add more speakers in the future. Because If I am going to replace my coaxial's...I might just keep them and add components to the doors. I have plenty of space in my door cards to add more door speakers. And I don't see the point in just tossing the coaxial's.
I am personally trying to find broken ones as I have a friend who fixes amps. And I want a quality power house.
I will bold the ones that I think look really nice.
But some of these aren't that much more than a broken one would cost to buy and get fixed.

So far. The crescendo seems like the best option for me. And $300 plus doesn't seem bad to me at all. Otherwise those TF t1000-4 if I can talk the guy down.
But give me your opinions guys.
Do me a favor. And just quote this list and delete the ones that you say no too. Remember. I am looking for decent power so I have room to upgrade if I want. I prefer to over kill my projects.

all of the amps you mentioned were decent..I loved the Eclipse for the x-over functions, decent power, the Crescendo is almost new, very good power and I believe their x-overs are ok too. The PPI new, excellent x-over and power...but I know you are leaning to class A/B..lemme put it this way, for A/B - Crescendo, Class D - Eclipse or PPI.

Of course the RF 1000.4 would be beast mode, but do you really want to buy a broke amp?

I am not leaning towards an A/B. I'd rather have a class D full range. I am not too concerned with SQ. I mean. Come on. I run everything off the HU and I think it sounds great. I am clearly no audiophile.

And yes. I'd rather buy a beast amp that is in rough shape or broken. Like I said. My buddy john can fix it. My exile 5k was bought broken. John fixed it for $175 and offers free repairs on it if I have any odd troubles. And He fixed my Us Amp AX3000DE for 125 that someone on ebay blew the crap out of.

I PM'd the guy on the RF 1000.4 but it looks like his post has been inactive for a while.

Also. I don't know if I will use the X-overs on the amp. I am unsure. Because I switch a lot between hip hop/rap and deathcore/metalcore/metal. So I use the EQ settings from my ipod because I switch between the genres so much.
