Is this why my front stage gets over taken by my sub stage?

boy that is a lot different than a sub amp.ok. Thank you SO MUCH. Everything you wrote. Was all news to me. I don't know anything about mids/high amps.

I might get a 6 channel so I have some left over in-case I add more door speakers. I prefer to overdue things so I am set for whatever happens in the future.

I am glad you laid it all for me as well. I really appreciate that too! I am going to have to refer back to this thread or PM when I get around to doing this.

bring on the troll. Idc what goes on in my threads.
no problem...tell you what though, you get some decent power to your mid/highs and it will be like a whole new world just opened up in your music.

Just seems from your signature that you are well experienced in car audio.
no way. This was my first big build ever. And I just finished it at the end September. Almost everything in my signature came from reading through threads. Or from the help of mylows10 and dbeez.

Mylows10 is why I ran 3 runs of power and 3 runs of ground.

dbeez helped me decide on the sub stage (i was dead set on 2 15s or an 18, but he said I would have to build the box in the trunk. and the 2 15s would most likely get choked)

so because of his advice I went with 12s. He designed and built the box.

The alternator I found and purchased on my own. And thanks to my buddy damon we got it mounted in my car. And were going to add a 2nd one next year when it's warm again.

the exile 5k I got through a trade because no one would buy my massive audio qc15's I had. the amp was broken and I had it fixed for $175.

and as for multi channel amps. I literally have no clue. I have never ever used one.

I am surprised that my set up makes me sound like I know what I am doing. It was all through the help of others that It was accomplished. All I did was follow instructions and do the work.

he got a hella sub stage though..
thank you! That is why I am concerned about my front stage. Because it already gets over powered. And the amp is @ 2-3 ohms in a box that restricts the power (box is too efficient)

so i know when I make a new smaller box. Its going to only make the front stage worse.

I can't believe I never figured that out before. For the last 5 years that I have subs. I have always wondered why my front stage was so weak. Pretty stupid

enough music volume to not be over taken by my sub stage?because if that is true. then I am dumb. I should have gotten a mids/high amp years ago.
Hell, I'm just running some 6.5's in my doors and they can get louder than I want them to be. There's only so loud you can go before it just starts to hurt. Maybe my ears are just sensitive(my wife will argue otherwise).

Well I am definitely not getting a budget amp. So no mb quart or hifonics. If i am going to do this. I am going to do it right the first time. But I would prefer to buy used. So I will browse around. It won't be warm again here in wisconsin for another 6 months
