Is this safe? Running 1/0awg outside.

Mine goes through the corner of my side panel. Been like that for 2 years cause I'm too lazy to take everything back apart and put a hole in the firewall cause it takes too much effort for the same response.

mine goes through my wheel well for about 2 inches, been through winter and haven't had a problem yet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

There is room for wire on a QX4. Run the wire along the firewall, and drop it through on the driver's side, there is a HUGE hole there. You can access it under the steering column.

Thanks for telling me late. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Story:

Last night i bought the unibit. This morning i went to start with my wiring. With the battery on the left side (passenger side), it seems like there was no way of drilling. So i went looking around under my dash, and saw a nice clean spot. So i started drilling.....

Here's the nightmare....

I drilled in a bit to make a hole, and i saw that there was this rubber piece in front of it. Assuming it was just a rubbery foam, i went ahead and drilled a little further. Then BOOM! a splat of gasoline to my face. I was in shocked. I was going crazy and didnt know what to do, so i filled the fuqn hole with silicone. I wanted to then move my car in a different position, so i cranked the engine, and VOILA! gas everywhere!!! (i know im stupid, that's why i stick to car audio.)

Then i called up my cousin and friend, they helped so much that they helped me locate the fuel line. Luckily, it was easy access under the wheel well. Went to 2 auto stores and 1 hardware store. Suprisingly kragen and autozone didnt have shit. After we found the pipe connecter and other piece, they finally fixed my problem. I learned my lesson!

Btw, didn't want to take pics of the accident, cuz i already know i fuqed up big time. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I kno people that have their rca cable and power wires running on the same side of the car and shit is fine. They took it the opposite side of the trunk once they ran it back there. But there has never been any problems wit it.
