Amperage

How can I get more amperage? My colossus is going into protect I think because my amperage could be a little low. My voltage is very high when playing loud, but it goes into protect when I push my amp hard. Also, can I slow charge my hc2400 while it's hooked up to everything? Thanks.

x2. i've NEVER trusted hifonics ever since i was looking for my first amp and someone told me that hifonics tends to fuck up alot. that was 2 years ago. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
My two Hifonics amps work fine.

I dont' think it's the amplifier. I maintain over 14v when I'm at level 32, when I push it to level 33 or more, it gets louder, but then goes into protect. I think maybe I should slow charge my battery.

Well the clipping light doesn't even come on when it goes into protect. The clipping light used to come on when I didn't have my line driver set right. Also, when testing with a multimeter, at like 70-85v range the amp would go into protect... It just seems that I should be able to push my subs more, again it's loud, but my guess is that there is more, and if I can get everything set right, I should be able to go on my volume until about 45-47 instead of 33-34/62. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
