Nope. You don't measure port length with the port walls. You measure directly down the center of the port.

You measure down the center of the port, not the port walls. I can't say it any easier.

The red needs to be 38"

You follow the red line untill the corner angles. Using the center of the port as the port length.

sorry for the double post but 4" is the port width and both 15" and the 8" is the lenth of the seperate pieces of wood that totals for 38" long

Maybe you didn't read my post. You dont make the port walls equal 38" that's wrong. You make the red line equal 38". Do you also know about port end corection?

Nope sorry. Your best bet is to grab one from the sticky in the enclosure section. They are all likely 100% accurate.
