you most likely won't need a cap, so just don't waste your money on it

if the amp kit doesn't come with some already, just get some speaker wire, 12ga would work fine, you can get it from a ton of different places

 
I would try to get thicker wire first but that doesn't always cut it,My friend jon had 2 12 inch kicker xpl's and a 12 inch solobaric and his lights kept dimming and he had 0 gauge wire running from his amp.

Wire dosen't have a huge roll in that but it dose have one. The reason his lights were dimming was b/c he didn't have a big enough alt most likely. Wire is very important don't get me wrong but if you want to fix it at the source get a HO alt and higher gauge wire...
