is this a smart thing to do?

i have 2 12''s in my trunk, its a honda civic so a very small trunk...they are in single boxes and they are facing the back of my trunk. they are only a few inches from the trunk opening. would it be wise to turn them so they are facing each other? they would still be about an foot and a half apart from each other though.

if you face them towards each other they'll be sending the waves right into each other.. which will cause cancellation and make them appear to be quieter. Keep them the way you have them now.

i agree. usually the best results are facing backwards. facing them towards each other would create major cancellation.

I say you build a new box and have just a single box facing the back of your trunk and jsut screw it in to your trunk or something
