Hassles with my RE SX18

So, i finally got my box built for my sub, and i was trying to hook it up just to test everything, but im having issues with the sub. . .

When you hook up just one coil to the amp (left or right) you get output. But when you hook the coils together, you get absolutely no output.

I have a weird feeling that maybe the coils are grounding out when you hook them together? Any ideas?

If i cant figure something out by Monday i think im going to ship this sub back to them

sounds like you are wiring the coils out of phase to me.

i found the problem. . . the - & +,s are labeled wrong at the terminals on one of the channels. . go figure

doh! that sucks. weird that RE would get it wrong.
