Is this a good Amp/Sub match up?

No, Pyle is bottom barrel poop.

If you need marine gear look at the following brands:

JL Audio

Wet Sounds

Polk (Though their marine subwoofers are not very good)

Kicker

Rockford Fosgate

Memphis

MTX

Kenwood (For micro amps and some head units)

Fusion

Digital Designs

Well I wasn't looking for marine gear. Trying to find an amp, 6.5 sub or Sub's, amp wiring kit and a LOC on a $200 budget. Going with 6.5 because of the limited space in my 07 tahoe. Plan is to build a down firing box for behind the 3rd row seats.

Let me take a step back and ask. Will an amp and subwoofer (X2) with the below specs work together?

Amp Specs

RMS Power Output: 300 Watts x 2 Channels @ 4 Ohm

Max Power Output: 600 Watts x 2 Channels @ 2 Ohm

Bridged Power: 1200 Watts x 1 Channel @ 4 Ohm

Full Range, Class A/B

Low Pass Filter: 45 Hz to 90 Hz

High-Pass Filter: 50 Hz to 500 Hz

Bass Boost: Variable 0 to 18 dB

Wired remote bass level control

RCA inputs: 2 CH

High Level Inputs

Input Sensitivity Switch

2/1 Channel operation

Thermal, Overload, and Short circuit protection circuitry

Signal-To-Noise Ratio: 84 dB

Channel Separation: 90 dB

Frequency response: 20-20000 Hz

Subwoofer Specs

Black Steel Basket

Non-Press Paper Cone

Specially Treated Foam Surround

1.5'' 4 Layer Dual Voice Coil

Dual 4 Ohm Impedance

30 OZ Magnet

300 Watts RMS / 600 Watts Max Power

SPL: 89 dB

don't get sub with less than 2" coil and 60oz magnet everything smaller than that tends to blow very easy..

Did you really just post the specs of the Pyle's expecting a different answer? Really.....

The problem with Pyle is they don't meet their own specs. So I will say it again. Pyle is trash, if you want to buy it, please buy it but don't come on here later and ask why it doesn't sound as good as you expected. Also your stating you want it because you don't have room, did you look into the enclosure size it wants? It's .5 Cu ft. EXACT SAME requirement as a shallow Pioneer 12"

If you want BETTER, and keep you budget under $200. Get a Pioneer or Dayton Shallow Sub (You can get the Pioneer in as small as an 8), And you can get the Sub and enclosure for under $100. Then find a 400-500W RMS Amp, for under $100 all day, plus you can get a 8 gauge OFC kit for sub $30.

DONE.

That's not true at all.....there you go again misleading info.
most i had blew thats y i never look at anything with less than 2" and can't believe u recommending cheaper sub after yelling about my 2.5"vc sub w/ dual spiders, 120oz mag, 600rms pioneer for months.. but now pos 1.5 coil is ok..

Then you did something wrong. Please show me where I recommended a cheaper sub.
