I am posting this completely separate from AudioJunkies....if I knew for a fact that it were 100% true, I would have posted it there and not here.

Read the thread in the proper context. Notice that I have merely repeated someone else's post...I am not the source for this story. Notice that I am asking a question...are they done forever? Notice that I have said several times that, while I believe it may be true, I don't know for sure.

No, Korea and Mexico both have companies that do. Mostly its hard to get a manufactuer in the states to make parts and have them cheap enough to be cost effective. hence the mass importing of chinese parts.

uhm...that makes like.... no sense. One party is confirmation enough not to make it a rumor.

Let me restate, it's not a rumor if one parties claims something and we have no info from the other party. What we have in this thread are rumors. Now if that Kevin guy says what happened, well that is just a claim. It would not hold up in a court of law would it? Before a judgement can be made, both arguments and sides of the story must be told before a decision is made.

Bottom line: What is being said may or may not be true. I don't know, I'm not directly involved. What's going on here is a biased perspective since only one side of the story is being told, so everyone speaking on that sense is not taking use of full information and thus, their responses are irrational.

Interesting ca.com is the court of law? I don't see where judgement has been made per say.

I tried the numbers that I had saved back when I was interested in acquiring baskets...all of them have been disconnected.
