it was obvious from the first 5 replies he got where the thread was going. it just took him a while to figure out that the vulchers were going to dive in and make jabbing comments on the subs putting out power, being dumb for "downgrading" when he actually UPGRADED his output, which is what he was looking for. i can smell the folks through my screen, yes, the ones that have their caustic lips flapping through their fingertips every evening. the greater than thou folks that live on forums. i could care less if it's a moderator or not. he or she needs to get a healthy reality check now and then. you can **** up to someone that is supposed to help folks out and instead sets things on fire when his lips unpurse. he or she is just a person behind a keyboard that has been given a job to keep the peace on a message board. the peace has been maintained all along, if he or she gets angry and deletes something i've said, it won't look good on him. won't hurt my feelings either. that said, the dude that started the thread has his answer and is not asking any more questions. beating a dead horse.

i'll entertain your oblivious babble. check out the sensitivity of the W3's and the sensitivity of the W6 and the W7. now factor in the cone area and the excursion obtained at 600w of input. the pair of 12's are louder, period. especially when comparing a JL enclosure to a JL enclosure.

You do realize there is no fixed "excursion obtained at 600W", that excursion and in-box efficiency are a product of enclosure size and Qtc alignment? And that for SPL in a bass reflex enclosure, excursion isn't the best thing to look at anyway?
