Not that I'm bagging on JL (settle down, JL fanbois...this isn't an attack) because inarguably they do make some right fine audio equipment.

But Rockyguy475, I begin to wonder....is JL one of a very restricted few manufacturers whose products are readily available to you? Again - let me reiterate that I'm not dogging a choice to run JL gear at all....it's nice stuff for the most part.

I ask because if (like you've already stated) you aren't going to compete....all you want is a nice-sounding daily driver to roll around and bang your rap on....then I just want to make sure you're aware that there are many, many other products out there which could easily suit your purposes more than satisfactorily and put a considerably smaller dent in your wallet doing it.

Just my $0.02.

yeah i know but from day one i have been set to JL out my car... i know there are better choices out there price wise and that there are many more options.. its just what i wanna do u know? imma just keep on doin my thing... i think that when its done my system will sound great.. thanks for the advice though

you came out on top. compare the single 12W6v5000198709837921 bucket--sh*t and the 12W7 you should be glad you got rid of to the pair of 12W3v60982098374 and you have subs that were meant to get busy on lower amplifier power. they are louder on 600w than either of the other two single sub setups, if they were in enclosures that can actually play more than 50-60Hz. be happy and don't ask advise about anything car audio related from people who listen to vinyl on tube amplifiers in their homes. you won't get a single positive letter from their keyboard.

and who are you again? and i mean no disrepect when i say this, but just because some of us listen to vinyl on tube amps or whatever you said doesnt mean we dont know what we're talking about 1 great sub pwns 2 lowerlevel subs IMO and many others

aww man comeon.....we were givin the guy, some, well alot, of constructive crtitisism...its gotta be frusterating knowing you just made a mistake you cant go back on, so everyone just take it easy....and rock, if you are gonna keep your current setup no matter what and want no more help on this forum, politley ask the mods to delete this thread and be on your way,,,,its also not polite to shove all the suggestions you were given back in our faces

Rockguy, don't listen to these noobs, you made a great deal, and if you ever come across more subs like the w7, let me know and i'll trade you for my two atlases, they'll get plenty loud for you off 600W.
