take the **** amp back not the sub! its not double ported there is one very small port, and not its not gonna be pretty loud...

hey man i know its hard. but focus for a second.....you just traded a W7 for W3's......in simpler words you got ripped off, unless that man gave you 300 or more dollars in your pocket. Try and get that w7 back, which i doubt you will be able to, it would do fine off the 500/1

Dear god, after reading the thread, you are dense. Why didn't you TRADE your 500/1 in for a 1000/1 and throw in some cash. You act like you can't change amps no matter what.

You went from argueably one of the best all-around(SQL) type subwoofers on the market to some mediocre-to-decent subwoofers.

Dear god, after reading the thread, you are dense. Why didn't you TRADE your 500/1 in for a 1000/1 and throw in some cash. You act like you can't change amps no matter what.
You went from argueably one of the best all-around(SQL) type subwoofers on the market to some mediocre-to-decent subwoofers.

i wish i could but i dont have hook ups or anything for this stuff... it cost around 800 bucks for a 1000/1 for me.. i just dont have the cash for it

no i relaly dont but i was told if i under power a sub it can lead to clipping which is bad... i dont know much about it at all though

underpowering doesnt clip an amp, turning h/u up to high or using bass boost, not setting gains properly, etc. cause the amp to clip

ok i guess i made a mistake but wont my bass still sound good? 600 watts in a car trunk isnt bad... or at least i dont think it is.. my friend had 2 W0's and i mean i know it wasnt the best at all it still didnt sound terrible

just b/c you have x amnt of watts means it will be good, go back to the w7...

its a line from a rap song... plus i was told to properly power a w7 that i would need a JL amp.. this was told to me by 3 differnt dealers
