for your situation i would go with a kicker 1500.1 but you are mainly gonna need to look for an amp that is decent and does its rms power that matches the rms power of those subs at a 2 ohm load..The kicker would be perfect and should be right in your budget range..I'm not really sure about all this stuff, I just got into looking at a new audio system for my car sometime in the near future. If you could also answer the same question that you will be answering for him for me please.
I'm looking at 2 12" Solo-Baric L7's each on 2 ohm DVC. They each run 750 watts rms and peak at 1500 watts, so they total out at 1500 rms and 3000 peak power. An amp suggestions would be great. Also, I'm looking to keep the amp around $400 or less. I can most likely find it on eBay also, if it is too expensive off of the manufacturers website.

RMS. You can't bridge a mono (1 channel) amp. Wire it like this...Yea thanks for the suggestions guys. Is the 1500 watts at 2 ohms peak or rms though? And how would I wire it so both subs could be hooked up to it? bridge it and run them in parallel or something?
It's using both voice coils. It will still give you their full potential.BobbyDD would that only be using one voice coil on each? I'm not looking to get them right away, so I'm trying to just build my knowledge on everything so I know exactly what I'm up against once I buy them. Would that still give me the full potential out of them?
NO, if you look closer in the picture one of the + is wired to the opposite - on each subwooferHmm that is kind of odd since you only really hook it up to one voice coil on each subwoofer, but I don't know anything about wiring things so I guess if that works then it works. Would getting 2 zx750's also be an option, or a better option to word that correctly. I found a zx1500 on ebay for about $275, is that a good deal? I can give you the link if you need it. Thanks for everything, I'm here to learn so throw anything you have on your mind at me
