Are MMATS amps any good?

I'm looking at picking up a couple of MMATS SQ2175 amps for my system, but I don't know/haven't heard a lot about the company. I know that the amps are pricey, but how is the sound quality? Are they underrated?

not for daily.

burps, sure. Definitely not a daily amp though. They get nice and warm at low impedance.

Yea they're a competition type of an amp. You'd be better off looking at zapco or arc audio for sound quality. The arc audio amps are reasonably priced and have some killer sq.

Actually the SQ series of amps use esoteric technology and are great for sound quality amps.

Great SQ amps.

I've ran the old HCs and non-HC sub amps, crazy underrated and ran very cool no matter how you beat on them. Worth every penny.

mmats amps are very efficient amps with small footprints. They run cool and are underrated. If I had the money I would run them

I'm baffled that more people don't run them on here. Very solid amps with a very small foot print that produce power.

Would they run too hot mounted in the trunk in a daily driver? Probably would just be used to drive a set or two of components. I have a 25 to life punch 150 for sub duty.

dont base your judgement on one particular line that they carry.
