Okk.... So i have a CD with a 50hz test tone at 0 db. I put it in set my eq's to 0 and all that stuff and put the volume at 40/60 or 3/4's and my gain was off and put my DMM in the output where the speakers go and its saying im getting like 89 volts? so i unplugged my gain remote and right when i did that the DMM read 1 . that it was to high for it to read... so it reads 198.4 when my volume is at 35/60 is the DMM ****ed or is my amp donezel washington?

Oh yeah I have 2 12" Alpine Type R's being powered by a BXI 1210d... and its wired to 1 ohm

So when i plug my gain remote back in and turn the knob down the minimum it jets back down to 50's so i tuned it to 69.28 and when you turn the knob up again it sky rockets to 200+

turn your **** gain all the way down. Turn your head unit to where you use it. This means with all eqs and everything enabled in your head unit. Now play your tone at the max volume you would ever turn your HU up to. Take your reading. It should read basically nothing. Not turn the gain only slightly. it will jump drastically so do it very carefully. You simply have your gain up too high right now.

Lol well you never know on these boards. Sorry for assuming you were less intelligent than you actually are. There HAS to be some sort of bass boost on, on your amp. I'd say it has 2 controls. One bass boost on your amp and then it can also use the remote. When you plug the remote in, the onboard bass boost settings are deactivated. I've seen this before. Maybe it's the case for you. Make sure all on-amp bass boosts are off.

Edit: It does. It's the little knob just to the right of where you plug your remote bass knob in. It's called "Bass EQ". Turn it to 0.

I saw the same and caught your post just before I said the same.
Any reason why your subwoofer phase in the middle position?
