What Are Runs of wire?

Just wanted to ask a quick question as to what do people mean when they have runs of wire in the same gauge. For example i've seen people say that they have 4 runs of 0/1 ga wire. What does this all do and where does it go connected? Thanks and hope you can answer my question.

It means they have 4 different 1/0 wires running from the front battery to the back battery. All connected in parallel, it just allows for better current flow, less resistance, etc.

Thanks for the response i thought that these wires went to an amp or something which is why i was think holy S*** haha but thanks for clearing that up for me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I was just using the batteries as an example...someone could have 2 runs of wire going to an amp with some kind of distro terminal on the amp...A "run" of wire, is just another wire...
