is 4ohm easier on the electrical system than 2ohm?

So im about to order a Fi Q here in a few minutes but im not sure if i should order it in Dual 1ohm or Dual 2ohm.

I will be powering it with an Alpine PDX-1.1000

it puts out the same power at 4ohms and 2ohms.

So basically either sub would work for me right? but is running one way better than the other? (perhaps easier on the electrical? let the amp run cooler? any reason to choose one over the other?)

wire to 4 ohms unless your electrical can handle more than 1000 watts anyway. however, you may actually get more power at 2 ohms, and having a d1 sub may be better in the long run if you decide to add another and a bigger amp at 1 ohm

but yes, to answer your question, you will **** less current at 4 ohms than at 2 ohms, even if you are putting out the same power
