see when you buy an iphone, unlock it, and then go to tmobile, you have to get a phone from tmobile. whether it is the basic phone or one of those free PDA phones they offer from time to time you still have a left over phone. either way, when you send in the iphone and pay to get the battery replaced you can use the phone you NEVER USED...novel idea and you are obviously the retard!

That's where you are wrong. When you go to T-mobile, You will only buy the sim card and activate the account. If you provide your own phone, they won't make you buy another one. You will also go on a month to month contract., meaning you are not locked into any yearly agreements.. Your whole theory is moot. Why would I spend $500 on a phone and then spend more money on another one just to go to another provider? If I was to do all of that, I'd just get a sidekick 3 or some other smartphone from T-mobile.

When i signed up. razrs were free. Pay only tax. The guy knew i was going to be using an iphone.

you can get a T-Dash for free plus $100 or the TWing for free...some broke ppl sell them to recoup their costs and others keep them just in case. simplicity is too hard for you two to understand. example...

you sure want to say that in this forum? we dog on people that buy a $600 comp set if they run them passive. then they have to buy a better deck, add in a smaller mid, rewire and modify vehicle locations, mess with xovers for a period of time...same shit different scenario

If they are offering a free phone, then you'd be stupid not to take it. However, that is not always the case. My point is that when they are NOT offering a free phone, why would you buy another one just to use your orignally bought phone? The point is, why would you buy an iphone in the first place if its not on your provider of choice, when there are plenty of capable phones on your provider of choice? Seems like a waste of money to me as well as time. In order to buy the iPhone, unless you get it from ebay (in which apple won't warranty) You have to sign up for a 2 yr agreement. So you mean to tell me that it makes sense in your little college oriented mind that you should sign up for 2 contracts in order to use this inferior phone? And you are calling other people idiots? When you grow up, maybe you'll learn to not waste your parents money like you have been.
