iP Bus questions on Pioneer 980BT/9800BT/880PRS

I am thinking about getting a Pioneer DEH-980BT, DEH-9800BT ot DEH-880PRS. I want to use an iPod controller (CD-IB100II) and the steering wheel remote model CD-SR100. I believe both of these interface through the IP BUS of the HU.

So my question is, can both be installed and operated at the same time on these Pioneer HU's?

I don't know about those, but my Sirius box has another IP bus socket to daisy chain something else to it.

Might look up the manuals for the Ipod controller.

In my Pio Premier Catalog, the picture of the CD-IB100II shows two sockets. Ip Bus-In and Ip bus-Out.

You should be good to go.

I have the ipod controller and the a steering wheel remote but my remote is wireless... The ipod controller does have another slot for an ip bus cord say if you wanted to add xm or siruis later

Hey all,

Anyone still using a DEH-980BT? I just got it all setup with the USB adapter and I have to say I'm seriously dissapointed. I have a little USB hard drive in my glove box and I wanted to be able to play mp3's off it (thus the USB controller) - but the control interface for it is awful. Can the iPOD interface read from a standard USB storage device? Maybe I just got the wrong interface (it was like 90 bucks and the iPOD controller is only 45 what gives?)
