Inverting Wiring

If I have a DVC 4 ohm sub and I want to invert it to make a 2 ohm load how would I do it? I would just use parallel if it was normal but would I still wire it in parallel if I switched the polarity to get 2 ohms?? thanks

Wire the sub in parallel, that will give you 2 ohms, then reverse the polarity to the amp.

so reversing the polarity doesn't have any effect on the ohm load it sends to the amp......either way it will send 2 ohms if I wire it in parrellel...right?

Yep. If you reverese the wiring on the sub itself, it will change the ohm load, but if you reverse the wiring to the amp, the ohm load will stay the same.

inverting the wiring jus changes the phase of the sub....so if u have one sub inverted and the other not.....and dont invert the wiring for one of the subs, they will sound horrible....

hey i didn't quite get that......i am thinking of inverting one of my subs. How do i need to wire it if i have the two wire parallel and bridged?
