Installed new fuse holder, problems arise

does your wire have voltage on it ? or did your shorted cap take yoru fuse out ?

My power wire? the fuse is not blown. The blade fuses in the amp are fine as well

how do i check that? I have a multimeter i've just never had to use it

check from there to your ground on your amp make sure your getting proper voltage and that conenctions are made properly

Your wire front the battery to amp check voltage on that wire where it goes into the amp put one meter lead there and put your other meter lead to your ground wire on your amp set your meter to dc voltage
