my car didnt come with a false floor... so i made one. well it's a 2 pice. the first piece toward the front of the car i cut a hole in the size of the batt. recessed the batt down 1 1/2'' to keep it in it's place, and hold tha batt. the 2nd pice is to support the waight of the sub box... next is building a custom box for my 2- 12'' fi ssd's. gunna finish it in some black vinal to match the car.. was kinda thinking about doing a raised acura logo that you would see threw the vinal... not sure yet and am taking my time with this install..

so here ya go!!!

the first pice of false floor with the recessed piece to keep the batt in it's place..

and you can see the 2 layers of roadkill i installed over 200sq ft at least!! in the whole car.. and the door's are 2 layers and spray on deadner

Sorry if the pics are shitty.. didnt have my digy on me only my camera on my phone...

whats keeping it form moving or falling over
beeing tha it's recessed into the false floor about 1 1/2''.. and the carpet made it a snug fit.. that thing aint going anywhere!! and i didnt want the strapped down look or anything sloppy looking.. once the box is built you wont see the batt at all..

Looks very clean, don't think it will stay there in a wreck. Guy got "killed" not long ago with a speaker box that wasn't bolted down. Be careful

I would consider a custom billet mount Seth. I do agree that thing will go flyin' if you get in an accident. Unless your planning on building the enclosure over it and using that for support. Looks good though.

i think if u took the tray out an let the battery sit at the bottom an just show the top it would look cool an definately not go anywhere
the battery is fastend.. these batt's have tab's on each front and rear side. i routerd a lip on the inside of the back cut, that the lip of the batt stick's into.. and the front tap is fastend witha rabbited pice that flushes out the front.. i will take detaild pics with my digital camera...

and as far as dropping the batt down so it was flush.... that is the farthest i could drop it down before hitting the edge of the spare tire well...
