okay i'm trying to hook up my hifonics 1206 and my FI Q 15 D2. I hooked the amp up properly. Installed the sub and wired it in parallel. The amp lights up when i start the car so the amp is working. But i get no signal at all to the sub. What could be the problem?

idk what you mean by check the RCAs? they were connected to the sub output a while back and haven't been touched since, can an RCA just disconnect on their own? and the sub control is turned on the HU. The remote lead wire works because the amp lights up when i turn the car on.

had the same problem, (no mean to steal thread, or even attempt) i bought new rca's and still no fix. So I thought it might be the connection on rca (internal) so i looked and everything seems fine.

My advice, if you redo the wiring, check it all, and no fix, go to a local shop that does amp repair, or buy a new amp.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif

jk, what kind of rca's are they? Stinger has a had loads of problems w/ their rca's lately. Try buying a very cheap set of rca's if they are stinger and run those instead. If the cheap ones work, you know your problem. if not then the only possible sitiuation is that the rca connect on ur amp is bAd. That's if you've ran those rca's on a system before. Have you?
