Another sound deadening question

I have a pair of boston pro 60s. I have dynamat on the outter and inner part of the door. Then i bought some liquid edead and put that on top of the dynamat. It made a nice increase on my midbass output.

I was messin around with my speakers today and i realized I have a HUGE roadnoise problem. The bass response from my pro60s is nothing short of amazing with my engine off. However at cruising at 45mph the output is pathetic.

So should I apply more deadening to the door? Or should i apply it to the wheel wells and floor? And what should I use?

Thanks for any help!

I would definately do the floor with multiple layers along with a sound barrier. For the deadener I'd go with Raamat. They also sell an ensolite foam that works well and can be used as a barrier but Dynamat makes a really good on. I've heard of guys doing layers of raamat, then a layer of ensolite, then a layer of deadener and so on...

Ensolite is really more of an absorber than a barrier. For that, you want a high density layer like lead or mass loaded vinyl. You also want to isolate it from vibration transmission and Ensoiite would work pretty well for that.

Did you seal the access holes in your doors? That will increase midbass response and reduce road noise.
