Let me start off by saying:

Anywho, got the amp from Sixfootman today, a 4-ch Sony. So, I went to install it this morning.

Disclaimer: This is my girlfriend's dad's former car. He is famous within his family for his "afro engineering". He previously installed a system consisting of components, a subwoofer and an amp. I am not responsible for the following:

• Head unit install
  
• component install
  
• power, ground and signal wires
  

Anywho, moving on.... here are pics:

Her little Kenwood sub in 1 @ 35 (Yes, I know the carpeting is ghetto)

Sony 4-channel amp

Tweeter in door panel

So I fired it up to see how it sounded, and it was really off-balance, like all on the driver side. I put my head on the passenger side, and I only heard the tweeter playing. So, I took off the door panel to investigate:

Mid (out of door.... you'll see why next pic)

Xover

Yeah, the xover was toast. So she'll just have to deal with it until we can find her a new one.

I just went for a drive... everything sounds great... well except for that one side. But I'm glad it sounds good.

I'm running the medium and the large crossovers and they're great! The description of the smalls made me nervous; the whole, "Terminals: +/- in, +/- out." thing just didn't sit right with me. The picture shows differently but I didn't want to get them and just have a crossover for the tweeters and not the mids. Hopefully the description is wrong.
