Ok, I got it all done!!! I went down to Best Buy because the had a lifetime nationwide guarantee. The installer did a great job. He hooked up the system using a Rockford amp kit that feed to two distribution blocks. One block has a Punch 4-channel amp on it, and a punch 2-channel. The four runs the front mid and tweeter, and the two runs the rear coaxial speakers. The other block has the punch mono running the 10-inch sub, and an AudioControl 6XS. The front comps are in kick panel enclosures (qforms...didn't have time to fab anything!) Coming from the head unit, is the PAC Audio AOEM-GM24. This puts out a two volt signal to the crossover.
I didn't believe that the Focals could be that bright so I didn't even think of EQ'ing this setup, but as many have mentioned; they are, and extremely efficient too, so the gain going to them is all the way down. Eventually I will be adding the AudioControl EQS, and replacing the factory head unit with an In-dash Nav unit. Still haven't decided if I would like the Kenwood 9140 or wait on Alpine Nav units. I am really leaning toward the Kenwood because it has Garmin navigation interface. I am going to add headrest monitors for the kids, so will also be looking for a good A/V distribution to feed A/V signal to from head unit. Not going to do anything fancy, just adding a tv turner, iPod cable. I really like the fact that the Kenwood has 5V pre-outs.
