Install help!!!

It's a 1998 grand Cherokee limited with the 5.9L Mopar 360. That engine was only put in the grand Cherokee in 98. Only 14000 were made. Only 4000 of that 14000 were made with California compliant emissions. Mine is California compliant. It is also in pristine condition considering age.

Alright...it's pretty obvious you like the vehicle so I can understand about keeping it as original as possible. I'm rather confused on the CA compliance part, not sure why they have such strict standards compared to other states, since your in Missouri.

The actual California compliance doesn't matter to me, it's just the fact that it is makes it 1 of 4000 rather than 1 of 14000. I'm buying another Jeep to wall off soon, one that's not rare or special in any way.

yeah, but the amperage draw youre gonna be getting up to is why youre going to want the most copper as possible going from the alt to the runs of 0 gauge. Might be best off just waiting for the mechman and connecting to that

Update. I'm just going to Dremel the shroud off and then get another alternator asap. Can anyone educate me about multi-alternator brackets? I would like to run 2 or 3 alts but know nothing about how running multiple works.

That one is beyond my level of expertise. I'll defer to the guys who have experience with that

Its the same as running a single alternator, but just with more..
Unless you get ones that run with an external regulator.

You need to first see if there is a bracket available for your vehicle first then decide if you want to do more then one.

Not all vehicles can fit more due to engine compartment space.
Alot of vehicles can only fit 2 alternators unless you get rid of stuff like A/C.

thats kinda how i got here in the first place, i got tired of android modding/rooting/answering the same question 400 times in 400 different threads and people not following advice and having problems because they decided that they knew better and effed things up LOL plus, xda is quite a bit more snooty with regards to whats allowed to be said on there. Like if you swear and try to mask it from the filter for instance saying sh1t instead of the real spelling, you have a decent chance of catching hell about it.

I never have those problems on AF or XDA.
I just gave up rooting the zte zmax pro due to guys acting like little girls asking basic questions.

And ZTE is a b1tch to root since they added dm verity, and blocked all possible exploits included dirty cow.
