I need help putting this together. I also need a 3 way crossover, is there a 4 way crossover? I want to run the highs, midrange, and midbass thru the crossover. Where should I cross them? Then run the subs thru the amp alone. This is what I have:

Audax 3/8" Titanium Composite Dome Tweeter 50 watts RMS Frequency response: 6000-20,000 Hz for the doors on top of midbass Goldwoods made bracket for them.

Dayton 2" Dome Midrange 80 watts RMS Frequency response: 500-6,000 Hz In the sail location

Goldwood GW-6PC-4 6-1/2" Heavy Duty Woofer 4 Ohm 110 watts RMS 46-3,000 Hz for the doors

Tang Band W69-1042J 6"x9" Subwoofer 90 watts RMS Frequency response: 35-350 Hz in the rear deck.

Profile HA700 RMS Output Power (4 Ohms) 200W x 1

Profile HA1040 RMS Output Power (4 Ohms) 80W x 4

Still need power wire and amp kit. This will be my first complete install.

That is correct,7 channels. I tried to contact the vendor before they shipped, but I was to late. The 6x9 will be mono, would it sound bad if I made the midbass mono also. Placing the 6x9 and the midbass on a 2 channel amp. Leaving the mid range and tweeter's on the 4 channel. Or would another four channel be a better soloution? Thank You very much.

I mean i guess you can have the midbass and 6x9's all playing the same thing, the 6x9's arent subwoofers by any means, you won't have a lot of low end. 2 channels means 2 speakers, if you have four speakers wired into a 2 channel amp they will each get half the power of each channel. I mean ideally you would want everything amplified individually (and then nothing would be mono, usually mono is reserved for woofers where separation means nothing), so a 6 channel amp + a 2 channel amp would work, the 6's are pretty scarce though, you could also go for a 4 channel and 2 2 channel amps, thats the problem with going active with three range components everything is separate and needs to be amplified individually.

Thanks, I will not run the mid mono. I am going to go with 2 four channel amps. The 6x9's are my subs,Tang Band's. I would like to having them run at 40-100hz. Their range is 35-350 allegedly. I put two in my sons car and they sound pretty good. I hope I am not heading into a mess here. Thanks again for your replies, it helps.

I am going to drop the wire when I layer the floor. I am not using sound deadener, I found a nice carpet pad. I may spray the floor with some cheap Walmart Quite Kote. The speakers are going in stock locations, except for the tweeters. I made a bracket for the tweeters to mount on top of the midbass. Thanks alot, I still need a few more items before I can get started.
