Hi all! My name is Giuliano. I am from Argentina.

I am planning my system and i will be very glad to get some advice from you.

I was planning to buy this componentes:

HU: Kenwood ddx8017 or Alpine IVA-w200 or Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD

Front Componentes: JL XR650-CSi

Subwoofer: JL 12W3v3

Questions:

- Which amp should i use to amplified the componentes and the subwoofer? i was thinking in the JL 450/4... it's ok?

- Which of those 3 double dins would you prefer?

- Opinions of jl componentes and subwoofer

It sounds like you got a pretty good setup planned there.

I think you could get a 500/1 JL amp to power the sub. Just keep the gains down

I dont know much about those head units, but JL's are all around good subs

But there are 2 channels for the sub (300rms bridged) and 2 channels for the compos (75 rms x 2)...

Using a 450/4 for the sub and comps. will save you lots of money... rather than getting a 500/1 and a 300/2

the only doubt now is to get the kenwood or the pioneer 2din...

if you lookin for a nice double din to build a system off. id say eclipse, if you are lookin for nav, etc. pioneer.

i'm looking for a double din with dvd, with a 6,5" or 7" screen that looks nice.. i don't care about the nav.
