Initial Setup and Tuning. Tips & Tricks? What are YOUR procedures?

Your supposed to do something besides listen to it after it's installed ? Fark I have been doing this $hit wrong all along //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

For my next vehicle, I will just fly James Bang over to Louisiana and let him tune my system for me.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/santa.gif.e1ec9cf2e0a0dd232ad35aa594a126d0.gif

I just start twisting knobs at random until it sounds halfway reasonable. Srsly, I play random tracks while tuning by ear. One at a time by themselves I listen to the mids, then tweeters, then subs, then everything together. Continue listening and make adjustments as needed until completely satisfied.

that post is tooo detailed bro.

1. turn the SLA up to 4

2.turn the loudness up to four

3.go to built in EQ and turn the low frequencies down(no subs and have stock speakers), turn the mid frequencies up to 2, and high frequency to 12khz and 6, cuz I likes the treble yo

Interesting, yo.

I usually unplug the rcas to all but the tweets, subs, mids etc, you know get one at a time, then proceed to cross it over and dick with alignment and eq, i dont usually boost into the +s, mostly turn things down, play some good vocal tracks and stuff with a good range. then try to snag those frequencies that resonate in the midbass (erggg). im no pro at it but it usually sounds good after a couple weeks of me driving in the middle of the road dicking with the eq/crossover
