infinity ref for newbie?

get the referecnes.. they sound fairly decent and will get decently loud. A single 12" in a sealed box would vibrate my mirror enough I couldn't see out of it.

When i turned it on a normal sounding setting, they sounded very nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

however for $200 (the price for 2 cheaper subs) you coudl get a half decent sub.. actually for alil more on the RE group deal you oculd get an SX 12".. that will defiantly get loud but need more pwoer for it.

to me infinitys are the best bang for your buck i have 3 1230ws two in my car and one in my boat they are not HARD hitters but pretty desent (but i could get a bigger amp and hit HELLA HARDER) they sound very clear also my cuz purchased 2 1242ws w/dual voice coils and has a 500w amp and it hits he also has 2 12" jls they hits hard but dont sound good (he got em cheap) its all what u need/want

I like the sound of the reference series more than my current tc9's.....very very punchy in the right sealed box. Perfect for rock and fast music...
