OK but which one is better? And by better I mean have a lower frequency response, lower distortion, better SQ, better accuracy, better output, etc. I don't mind paying an extra 50 bucks to get the AE if it is even the slightest bit better.

and are you saying the ID12D2 V.3 is good for IB? How so. It has a low Qts and it doesn't say anything about IB. Is this just a known fact?

You can't get the AE sub anymore... lower fq response depends on a lower Fs.

QTS is not the sole factor. Heck, the automobile version of the AE IB was less than .4.

It's the interaction of a multitude of factors. Just something to keep in mind.

Also, AE now offers a slightly upgraded replacement for the AE IB. However, it is more than double the price.
