Infinite Baffle Recommendation?

Any good recommendations for an 8" sub that will work well as infinite baffle? Something in the $50-100 range would fit my budget for this build. Thanks.

actually ANY ID sub is IB. it's one thing that Eric and Matt love doing over there.

I find it odd that nowhere on their site or driver info for the IDV3's do they say anything about IB use. They recommend .35ft^3 sealed and .6ft^3 ported for the 8"...apparently it works extremely well in every box possible(of course). But if they're recommending such small enclosures, and with the actual qts being .289, where does the suggestion for IB come from?

After looking more through the Adobe files for their ID line, they only say the ID12 is ok for IB apps.

Ae has some IB subs but I'm not sure if they have 8" ones

if you look through ID's gallery's you'll see they have demo cars where they run the ID8 IB in the rear deck of a charger

here you can see Eric at ID says the ID8 will work ok replacing a stock IB sub.

there are alot of other posts but searching with 3 characters sucks i'll have to complain to matt about that lol

as for the tech files a few of the files say trunk baffle ok or if you look next to the larged sealed enclosure you'll see infinate baffle ok

with that said i can guarantee all ID subs are IB/TB compatible.

All ID subs are IB able. Always have been as far as I know since 1994 anyway.
