Inexpereinced and need advice/help

Here's the deal -- I need a sub, I have been reading the posts for the past 2 weeks and looking at almost every subwoofer that has been mentioned and I cannot settle on 1.

I have a Alpine M350 amp, 350wRms @ 2 ohms. I'm looking to run 1 sub so it has to be dual 4 ohm and I want to have a daily driver sub, one that can function in all situations with all music genre's. Most likely slot ported box but sealed is not out of the question. It is a expeditions and I want to maintain use of the 3rd row.

1st -- I'm getting confused with all the watts. When you are looking at a dual 4 ohm sub and it says 300 wRms, does this mean per voice coil or 150 for each voice coil?

2nd -- I'm trying to keep cost down in an effort to save my marriage. I've already rewired the truck, installed new HU, 2 sets of components, and have a Alpine V12 4-channel running the highs and mids. I've been trying to look at under $100 dollars. Obviously some on the list are used and/or on Ebay.

Here is a list of subs I have been looking at and please interject any you think of that would work better or help me decide. Mostly I've been looking at 12 inch but if it was a good option in 10, I wouldn't be totally opposed. They are not listed in any specific order:

1st - 300RMS means 150 per voice coil

2nd- I dont know too much about the other subs listed, but from owning them I can say the Memphis PR12D4 is a pretty decent entry level sub. Def. my choice when it comes to money. They are Dual 4 ohm so you can wire them parrallel to 2 ohms, RMS is 250W and 500W Max so your current amp should be fine.

I had a memphis pr 12 for a quick cheap temp sub, it was surprisingly good the the $75 I paid for it new, dont knwo about the others though

you'd be happy with any one of those, except maybe the alphasonic and dls. the box is going to make a much bigger difference than the actual sub you get from that list. i would personally go with either the diamond or RE in 2 cubish ft. tuned to 35ish hz. but the JL and memphis would be good too. box size would probably drop a little with the JL. not sure about the memphis.

Get the w3. If its the v2 you will power it perfect with your amp.

i'd go with the re sr 12" from personal experience 350 watts is perfect in 2 cubes@34hz
