Indoor speaker phase question

I noticed today when I was checking to make sure I had all my wiring correct that when phased correctly the speaker moves inward. As with a sub, it moves outwards. When I switched the wiring around, it definitely pushes more outwards.

Is this normal? Keep it phased correctly?

I am using PG RSD 6.5's CS
